MacGS-503
==========
Changes:
MacGS-503 is a port of Aladdin Ghostscript 5.03 to the Macintosh.
The mac device in MacGS-503 now supports text and graphics anti-aliasing
via the ghostscript command line options -dTextAlphaBits=number
-dGraphicsAlphaBits=number, where number can take on the values 1, 2, or
4. To make life easier, the text and graphics antialiasing options are
supported via the Settings dialog in the Edit menu. Text and graphics
anti-aliasing provides much more pleasing fonts and lines when rendering
at low dpi.
Printing is much improved. The user can print an entire document or a
subset of a document using the standard Macintosh printing dialog.
A status dialog box is displayed when the user invokes ps2pdf, ps2ascii,
etc., from the pull down menu or via drag-n-drop.
convert status dialog enlarged slightly
preferences dialog enlarged slightly
preferences dialog bug fixed
ps2ascii now works
Bugs:
ps2epsi does not work.
when macgs is in the background everything seems to slow down
